We’re in Spring full swing and don’t we just LOVE this month for its expansive energy?

MAY was named after the Roman goddess of fertility, Maia.

This month is indeed a month of creation and growth. It encourages us to

  • SELF-IMPROVE one or several aspects of our lives
  • Look and feel your best, find Love or strengthen existing relationships
  • Be social (Festivals, concerts, shows, parties!)
  • Tap into the special energy generated by the collective whose focus is on HAPPY occasions.

The full moon is traditionally a potent time to tune into and it is on the 7th May (U.K).But we also have a fabulous thread: the celebrations of  the “Vesak” (Birth of Buddha) This is celebrated by millions of Buddhists and produce a surge of positive energy!

Regardless of your religion (or lack of), be reminded that everything is energy and it is your choice at any time to direct your attention consciously or gift it by default-This allows others to use it.

It is an ideal time to “feed the seeds you want to see growing”! By the way, if you planted some 4-5 weeks ago, you already have plants. In the same way, if you began a coaching program last month, you already feel the difference! Shifts happen!!

GROWTH really is the theme that sprouts to mind (pun totally intended!”).  A lot of people are seeking methods to improve their mind, body and spirit at the moment. This can lead them to people who claim to be “awake”.

It usually means being ”fully conscious, alert and aware: not asleep”.

Bizarrely, this definition is not associated with Spirituality but is the single most heard expression anyone hear on a self-improvement journey!

The concept is associated with experiences, and linked with a profound shift in consciousness. “Awakening” brings a greater understanding of the mystery of life, and highlights the fact that we are all interconnected.  This state allows us to see the dream-like world for what it is, and no longer through the filters of their ego.

WHO LOOKS OUTSIDE DREAMS, WHO LOOKS INSIDE AWAKENS!

I defend the “ego” regularly in my workshops and strongly disagree with any teachings encouraging people to “kill all ego”…sue me 😉

These concepts are used by a growing number of teachers who are stepping up to help others navigate their “awakening”. There is a lot of confusion around the belief systems (B.S…always!!) and various new “trends” popping up.

It is fantastic to see more and more people willing to improve their life, and find happiness. And there are so many methods and therapists now!!  I remember lying about what I was doing for a living as “holistic” or “coaching” sounded downright woo-woo! My…times have changed!! My life experience gave me some immunity against the  spirituality show “masters”, and generally anyone claiming to be “there”-therefore not questioning much including themselves.

The fact is that the most advanced “Masters”  are always open-minded, humble, and they usually display a great sense of humour and self-derision.

Let me drop you a 6 points awakening reminder. If this reaches even one person who realises that they are on a funny slope, my job for today will be done 😉

  1. Are you “AWAKE”?

The word is not spiritual in itself, but it describes someone who rebels against society. It is now an acceptable way to qualify the people rejecting some aspect of society (New World Order, pharma solutions or cashless society…), right?

Well…no. The fact is that no political or medical opinion makes you “awake”. What makes you awake is generally a personal crisis or an event, as explained a couple of months ago in a blog!

2. If you have awakened, you are AWAKE. Not “woke”.

Initially “woke” described someone “alert to social injustice and discrimination”. It has now become an LGBQ… concept and most “awake” people are not woke.

3. Whether you consider yourself “spiritual” or not, if you work on yourself, it WILL change your life. The way you think, live, and interact will adapt to your new frequencies, changing what you attract and what you are attracted to.

 4. Your frequencies, vibrations and energies will shift, you will “loose” friends and gain others. It can be utterly upsetting, but is a stage we all go through. Think about the snake shedding its skin! Consider these situations you faced in the past and how they opened up new paths, and better experiences.

This is YOUR journey and you can’t “take people” with you; They will catch up, or not. It has nothing to do with your value, or theirs. You are just no longer on the same wavelength. Keep the good times in your heart, and move on!

 5. “Spiritual awakening” is not a one-off event. This is an ongoing journey, and we have several “awakenings” throughout our lifetime. Just accept that “the only thing you know is that you don’t know”, and try to enjoy the ride!

Understanding the UNIVERSAL LAWS principles truly helps to navigate life more comfortably (if you are local to Surrey, U.K, join my workshop on the 26th this month!).

Everyone on your path is potentially a teacher (or a learner!) to you. Just trust your intuition and only take in what resonates with you. Be picky with what you give your attention to!

  • The “spiritual market” is flourishing, and has attracted many people who tap into the collective need for guidance, answering the demand with an offer which does not necessarily stem from a space of love and authenticity.

Some are offering some surface knowledge, regurgitated materials and fake “togetherness”. I don’t believe that any of us feel threatened by these clowns, but having people calling because they suddenly feel “all over the place” after some sessions or workshops is upsetting. These people are on their own journey but are not doing their inner work, feed on external validation and refuse to understand that you should not play with energies you don’t understand.

On these wise words, my lovely A.C.E people….THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE

I wish you a fabulous month and hope to receive a few emails and winks in my inbox (last month were really funny!)
